International Book Day
Preschool and Kindergarten got the chance to go over to the middle school and read with older kids for book day. My kindergarten class got to work with Cuarto which is third grade.
Family (Familia)
My family here is pretty awesome! Spending some time together decorating Easter eggs, they have never done this before or heard about it so we had a lot of fun decorating. We also had a little cake batter fight 🙂

Today was crazy getting ready for our four day weekend (easter), the kids loved looking for eggs!

Ingapirca Ruins
This past weekend we got the chance to travel to the Incapirca Ruins and it was beautiful!! The picture in the top right corner is a huge rock with lots of holes, when filled with water the moon will shine/reflect in a different hole each night telling you the phase of the moon! The second rock tells the seasons depending on how the sun shines down, and where the shadows are placed around it, also if you look through the top of it you can tell the time! In the bottom left corner this rock with where they sacrificed llamas. The second picture is of a an old inca house!
Parque del Paraiso
Saturday we did some reforestation. We worked with younger students to plant almost 35 trees in the park, there were around 70 of us working to do this.
